About this course
Product Analytics covers the metrics and data skills central to modern PM work: defining the right success metrics for product features, building funnel analysis to diagnose user drop-off, designing and interpreting A/B tests, using cohort analysis to understand retention, and applying frameworks like AARRR (pirate metrics) and North Star metric design. The emphasis is on decision-making, not technical data manipulation — PMs who use analytics dashboards rather than writing SQL queries.
Data fluency is the most-cited gap in PM candidates' skills — interviewers consistently probe for metric definition, experimental design, and data interpretation. This micro-cert builds those muscles directly, and complements the Product Strategy cert by adding the measurement layer that validates strategic decisions.
