Frequently asked questions
Google PM is a Coursera-issued certificate aimed at entry-level. CAPM is PMI's entry exam. PMP requires 3+ years of PM experience. Many learners use Google PM to qualify for CAPM, then later PMP.
Yes for entry-level associate PM and coordinator roles. Google connects graduates to its employer consortium (Verizon, Walmart, Deloitte and others). It is not a substitute for PMP at senior levels.
Coursera says 6 months at 10 hours/week. Many learners finish in 3 months at 15 hours/week. The capstone alone takes ~25 hours.
Both — there is a dedicated Agile course covering Scrum events, sprint planning, retrospectives and the Scrum Guide. About a quarter of the program is Agile.
