Frequently asked questions

Cloud Practitioner is foundational and easier (no hands-on required); SA Associate is deeper and requires real architecture knowledge. Most learners take Practitioner first to confirm AWS is right for them.
For non-engineers in AWS-heavy companies — yes. For working engineers, skip straight to Solutions Architect Associate which is a stronger signal.
Pick based on the cloud your employer uses. AWS Practitioner is harder and broader; AZ-900 is slightly easier. If you have no preference, AWS has the larger job market.
3–6 weeks at 4 hours/week is typical. Add a paid practice-exam set (Tutorials Dojo or Stephane Maarek) for best results.
AWS Skill Builder — the official AWS learning platform — has the same Cloud Practitioner Essentials course completely free. Same content, no Coursera certificate.
